Modi should also stay away from Parliament: Bhagwant Mann

TIL Desk/National/New Delhi-Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann remained defiant, shooting off a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, seeking action against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allowing officials of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI into Pathankot airbase.

The nine-member committee, headed by BJP MP Kirit Somaiya had summoned Mann on Tuesday for having posted a video showing the access route to Parliament and other details. The Sangrur MP has sought time till Thursday afternoon to appear.

“If I have been asked to stay away from Parliament till August 3, the Prime Minister, also an MP, should also be summoned by the committee and suspended for some time,” Mann said. He said the ISI was responsible for attacks on Parliament in 2001 and the January 2 attack on the Pathankot airbase.
