TIL Desk/National/NE-With flood situation in Assam worsening in Assam, leaving many dead and lakhs affected, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will undertake an aerial survey of the state on Saturday. Singh will be accompanied by Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju and Minister for DoNER Jitendra Singh.
They will take stock of the situation in the districts of Nagaon and Morigaon besides the Kaziranga national park. The Home Minister will also be visiting Bhagatgaon camp of flood-affected people in Morigaon district, an official release said.
At the same time, Singh will hold a meeting with Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and state government officers in Guwahati before returning to Delhi in the evening.
