TIL Desk Bollywood/ Pooja Bhatt, the producer of upcoming film “Cabaret”, has revealed that the release of the dance drama has been delayed because it is stuck amidst copyright violation.
The Richa Chadha-starrer film was earlier scheduled to release on May 27. It was then pushed to June 10 but it did not hit theatres even then.
There were reports that the film got postponed due to creative differences between the makers.
“Much speculation about the release of @cabaretthefilm & rightly so. Truth is my copyright has been violated on the film & we are fixing that,” Pooja posted On Twitter.
“All my films get a dignified release. Will not permit @CabaretTheFilm to debut unless ALL players put their supposed clout & might behind it,” she added.
“Cabaret” is the story of a girl, who begins her journey from a small village in Jharkhand and wants to make it big in the world of dance.
Along with dance, the movie will present a dose of love and romance.
