TIL Desk Hollywood/ Action superstar Jackie Chan surprised his fans when he showed off his Punjabi dance moves on a 1990s popular track “Tunak Tunak Tun” on-stage at the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival.
Chan was accompanied by Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in the impromptu jig. The 62-year-old multi-faceted performer looked at ease grooving to the Daler Mehndi-sung number and seemed to be in high spirits matching the steps with Sood, who is a Punjabi.
“Impromptu dance moves with my brother @EyeOfJackieChan #Shanghai #jackiechangallery #kungfuyoga,” tweeted Sood. The 42-year-old “Happy New Year” actor and Chan are working together in an upcoming Indo-Chinese project, “Kung Fu Yoga”.
The action-adventure movie is a part of the three-film agreement signed between India and China during Chinese President Xi Jinpings visit to India. It also stars Bollywood actress Amyra Dastur.
The film is set to release this October.
