TIL Desk Bollywood/ Yesteryear actress Zeenat Aman and Huma Qureshi will attend the opening ceremony of the 14th ‘Annual Bollywood Festival Norway’ next month. Aman will be the chief Guest of Honour for this year’s festival which is held in the Scandinavian country.
She would be accompanied by her son Azaan Khan who is making his debut in Bollywood as a film director with “Bankster”, which will be screened at the festival on the opening day, September 9. The festival that begins on September 9 and ends on September 16 will screen 26 films, including films from India, Pakistan and Iran.
These include “Dhanak”, “Haraamkhor”, “Waiting”, “Kabali”, “Aligarh” and “Raman Raghav”.Banned Pakistani film “Maalik” will have an exclusive screening and “My Father’s Love Story” from Iran will also be shown. British singer Tanya Wells will pay a tribute to late legendary Pakistani Ghazal singer Mehndi Hasan, and playback singer Suresh Wadkar will perform live at the festival’s Bollywood musical concert.
