TIL Desk/National/Mumbai/ People in Mumbai woke up to a rainy morning on Wednesday as water-logging has been reported in several parts of the city.
Hours of incessant rainfall in Mumbai and adjoining districts led to water-logging in several parts of the city on Wednesday morning.
In Mumbai, areas including Sion, Parel, Dadar and Byculla received heavy rain since morning. The India Meteorological Department has already issued an ‘Orange alert’ for Mumbai and Thane for Wednesday.
An orange alert is issued by IMD when the weather conditions is likely to disrupt daily life. The Mumbai Police has also urged the public to take precautions.
