Akhilesh and RamGopal’s suspension has withdrawn

TIL Desk/National/UP/ Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has reportedly revoked his earlier decision of suspending son Akhilesh Yadav and brother Ram Gopal Yadav. the decision was taken during the meeting between Akhilesh, Mulayam and Azam Khan. The latter reportedly stressed Netaji to take action against Amar Singh, whom he accused of creating the rift within the party.

According to the statement issued by Samajwadi Party, the suspension order of Akhilesh and Ram Gopal has been withdrawn with immediate effect on directions of party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. The statement further adds that the party has decided to contest against the communal forces in a united manner.

Azam Khan reportedly impressed Mulayam and Shivpal during the meeting and mediated between Akhilesh and Shivpal. Azam also reportedly urged Mulayam to expel Amar Singh from the party, calling him the root conflict of the menace. Earlier in the day, both the warring camps of Samajwadi Party flexed muscles. While Mulayam had stated that a new chief minister would be announced, Akhilesh camp staked claim over the government with support of 2017 MLAs.

“Netaji has instructed me to retake Akhilesh and Ram Gopal ji back into the party. Their suspension has been terminated with immediate effect,” Shivpal Yadav said. He further added, “Now, Netaji has decided. Everything will be kept aside. We have to unitedly fight the communal forces who want to vitiate the atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh.”
