TIL Desk/National/Sonebhadra/ Charging BSP and Samajwadi Party with plundering the ecology of Uttar Pradesh, BJP chief Amit Shah on Tuesday said both these parties are known to shield scamsters and criminals enjoying patronage of each other.
“While coming here, I saw big cavities and craters in the hills and asked what has happened here. I was told that the stones from there have been taken away for making Mayawati’s statues,” Shah said at a function to flag off the third parivartan yatra of the party.
“(In SP) There is a very close confidant of Mulayam Singh Yadav who has been given the contract to do illegal mining and loot people…if BJP comes to power, there will not be a single corruption case as has been under the Narendra Modi government at the Centre,” he said.
Had the rich minerals and natural resources from here been properly used, the entire Kashi area would have got bridges, water and power, Shah said.Mineral-rich Sonebhadra shares its borders with four states — Madhya Pradesh, Chhattishgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar.
