TIL Desk/National/Lucknow-No relief to absconding former BJP leader Dayashankar Singh as the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court denied a stay on his arrest.
Dayashankar was expelled by the BJP from the post of vice-president the UP unit after being booked under the SC/ST Act for his disparaging remarks against BSP chief Mayawati.
Photographs had appeared a couple of days ago that showed the absconding Singh praying on Saturday at a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Deogarh in Jharkhand. He is seen in the pictures with local BJP leaders, who reportedly released the photographs.
