Sushma prostrated before China: Rahul Gandhi

TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ Rahul Gandhi shifts his sights from PM Modi to Sushma Swaraj. Slamming the external affairs minister, @RahulGandhi tweeted, “Amazing how a lady like Sushmaji has buckled and prostrated herself in front of Chinese power. Absolute subservience to the leader means our brave jawan has been betrayed on the border. #Doklam.”

Rahul’s barb comes after the Swaraj told the Lok Sabha yesterday that status quo was being maintained at the Doklam trijunction and that the issue had been resolved in August last year through “diplomatic maturity.”

Responding to a question  raised by Sugata Bose of the Trinamool Congress during question hour, Swaraj said the informal summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping, in April this year, was without any fixed agenda, which is why the word “Doklam” was missing from reports of the meeting.
