TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ CoWin registrations for the COVID-19 vaccination for children aged between 15 and 18 years will begin in the country on Saturday.
The teens can also register at vaccination centres directly in order to receive the vaccine shots starting January 3, the Union ministry of health and family welfare had said earlier.
Emphasising precaution in view of the rise in cases of Omicron variant of COVID-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had on December 25 announced three major decisions in the fight against the disease including start of vaccination for children in 15-18 age group from coming January 3.
