Withdraw permission to Priyanka’s house: BJP MLA

TIL Desk/National/Shimla/ BJP MLA Suresh Bhardwaj has reportedly urged the Centre to withdraw permission to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to construct her house at Chharabra, a high security zone near Shimla. The construction of her house, near the summer residence of the President, is reportedly going on for the past six years.

In a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Bhardwaj reportedly said that her house poses security risks as the President’s retreat is nearby and it is also used by other dignitaries. “Due to security reasons, no construction should be allowed in the vicinity of either ‘The Retreat’ or the nearby Kalyani helipad.” Her house poses security risk to the President, Prime Minister and other dignitaries, he alleged.
