Won’t betray Balasaheb for power, tweets Eknath Shinde

TIL Desk/National/Mumbai/ Shiv Sena minister who is camping in Surat with several other party MLAs tweets a telling message: “We are Balasaheb’s staunch Shiv Sainiks.

 Balasaheb has taught us Hindutva. We will not betray the ideals of Balasaheb and teachings of Dharmveer Anand Dighe for the sake of power.” The late Anand Dighe was Shinde’s political mentor.

Shinde along with some Shiv Sena MLAs had gone incommunicado, a party leader said earlier today, a day after the ruling Maha Vikas Agahdi (MVA-comprising the Sena, NCP and Congress) suffered a setback in the Maharashtra Legislative Council polls by losing one out of the six seats it contested.  Shinde will be holding a presser this afternoon.
