TIL Desk Gorakhpur/ Air Marshal AP Singh AVSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, Indian Air Force and Mrs Sarita Singh, President Air Force Families’ Welfare Association (Regional) arrived at Air Force Station Gorakhpur on 10 November 2022 for a two day inspection visit. They were received by Air Commodore Anish Aggarwal VSM, Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Gorakhpur and Mrs Shilpa Aggarwal, President AFFWA (Local).
The Air Marshal reviewed a Guard of Honour upon his arrival. He inspected the operational preparedness of the Station. He addressed air warriors of the Station and exhorted them to continue to perform well and rise to the nation’s expectations. He interacted with personnel of the Station and its lodger Units.
Mrs Sarita Singh visited various AFFWA ventures including ‘Umeed Vidya Kiran’ play school and also interacted with Vayu Sanginis. She appreciated the welfare activities undertaken at AF Station Gorakhpur by Air Force Families Welfare Association.
