Emirates airlines flight makes emergency landing in Dubai

TIL Desk/World/Dubai-All passengers on board the Emirates flight EK521 which caught have been escorted to safety. If you’ve just joined us, an Emirates airlines flight from Trivandrum to Dubai made an emergency landing in Dubai.

Emirates tweeted to say: “can confirm that an incident happened at Dubai International Airport on 3rd August 2016 at about 12.45pm local time.

Emirates aircraft flying from Thiruvananthapuram, India, to Dubai made an emergency landing at Dubai airport. An Emirates Airline statement said there were 275 passengers and crew on board the flight. Images posted online show thick black smoke coming from the plane.
