TIL Desk/World/Islamabad-In a big jolt to Pakistan, Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed has claimed that terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) was behind the violent protests in Kashmir Valley in the aftermath of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani’s killing in an encounter by Indian security forces. The JuD chief claimed that a LeT militant led the processions in Kashmir Valley following the killing of Wani in Srinagar.
“Have you seen the pictures of procession when lakhs of Kashmiris came to the streets? Did you see a man who was being carried on shoulders by the crowd? Do you know the man who was leading the procession? He is an ‘ameer’ of Laskar-e-Toiba (LeT),” Hafiz Saeed said.
