TIL Desk/National/New Delhi-Minister of State of External Affairs VK Singh has approached Delhi Police complaining about a man who has been blackmailing his wife Bharti Singh and demanding Rs 2 crore. Delhi Police have maintained silence on the issue, but according to initial reports, the cops are searching for a man named Pradip Chauhan who blackmailed VK Singh’s wife Bharti Singh and demanded Rs 2 crore. A complaint has been registered at Tughlaq Road Police Station in this regard.
According to reports, VK Singh’s wife Bharti Singh has been receiving phone calls from Pradip Chauhan. Chauhan, who is a relative’s friend, was demanding Rs 2 crore. He allegedly threatened VK Singh’s wife saying that he would release some audio and video clips on social media platforms, which would bring shame to her family.
Delhi Police have begun the investigation in this regard and formed a special team to nab Pradip Chauhan. No further information has been revealed by the Delhi Police considering the sensitivity of the case. There is no information available so far that what audio or video clips the blackmailer could have with him. Union Minister VK Singh hasn’t said a word on the issue. Delhi Police is probing the matter.
